A native of Topeka, Hoffman received her B.A. in Speech Communication from Drake University in 1995 and her J.D. (cum laude) from American University, Washington College of Law in 2001. She has worked for the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C., where she was a trial attorney in matters of national security. She was also in private practice in Washington, D.C. Hoffman joined Fisher, Patterson, Sayler & Smith as an associate in 2015.
Hoffman's practice is focused on civil litigation defense in the areas of government liability, civil rights, and employment law.
