Cooper joined Fisher Patterson in 1996 after
serving two years as research attorney to the
Honorable Robert J. Lewis, Jr., of the Kansas
Court of Appeals. Cooper’s practice focuses
on litigation of governmental liability, civil
and constitutional rights, and employment matters.
Cooper has also presented widely on issues ranging
from Kansas laws on open records and open meetings,
governmental liability and immunities, civil rights
litigation and employment litigation. Cooper
currently serves as an officer of
the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel and
serves as adjunct faculty for the Washburn
University School of Law Trial Advocacy Program.
