James P. Nordstrom

Nordstrom served as a JAG officer in the U.S. Army in Germany where he tried hundreds of court martial cases. He attended the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy. Nordstrom has extensive state and federal court trial experience in the areas of product liability, contractor’s liability, automobile negligence, employment liability, governmental liability, general negligence, fraud and malicious prosecution. He has experience in medical malpractice and other professional malpractice defense. He has handled cases involving constitutionality of statutes restricting commerce. He has experience in insurance coverage matters. He now has tried over several hundred civil jury trials in Federal and State courts of Kansas and Missouri. He has previously been a member of the District Citizens Advisory Council to the Topeka Public Schools. He is included in Best Lawyers in America.

Nordstrom has tried hundreds of cases in state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri. His practice focuses on defense of cases involving the trucking industry, products liability, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, auto negligence, bodily injury and employment matters, among others. Since 2005, he has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the field of personal injury litigation.
