FPSS represents pharmacists and pharmacies in a variety of matters, including the defense of professional liability lawsuits. FPSS attorneys assist pharmacies and compounders with regulatory compliance before state pharmacy licensing boards, and defend investigations and charges relating to professional practice, customer complaints, and allegations of violations of pharmacy laws and regulations. The firm is retained by insurance companies to represent the interests of insured pharmacists and pharmacies in professional liability litigation and often represents pharmacists and pharmacies in claims of misfilling, failure to monitor patients' drug usage, mislabeling, filling prescriptions in excess of recommended or appropriate dosages, failure to comply with state or federal laws and regulations, and other claims.
